STEPHANIE G. SANTANA, B.S.
Stephanie is from Sacramento, California. As a child she spent most of her time outside, sharing her discoveries with others. Her time outdoors led to a deep desire to better understand wildlife as she grew up. Stephanie went on to attend Humboldt State University where she gained knowledge of wildlife biology, ecology, environmental science, and environmental laws. Receiving her B.S. in Wildlife Conservation and Management, she learned to identify, survey, and trap various wildlife taxa. Passionate about education, she then applied her newly developed knowledge and skills as a volunteer for the Sacramento Wildlife Rehabilitation Program. There she gave community presentations addressing ways to minimize disturbance to threatened and endangered species in Humboldt County. Her passion for wildlife motivates her to help others feel just as inspired about wildlife and hopeful about the future.
