SARAH A. JACOBSEN, B.S.
Sarah grew up in Mariposa, California, just outside of Yosemite National Park. She developed a passion for wildlife and forestry at Reedley College, where she earned an Associate of Science degree in Natural Resources. During her tenure at Reedley College, Sarah interned with El Dorado National Forest, where she conducted surveys for northern goshawk and spotted owl and participated in the North American Bat Monitoring Program. Sarah received a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Resources with a minor in Forestry Resources from University of Idaho. After completing her studies, she worked for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife on an effort to eradicate nutria, an invasive rodent, from California waterways. In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking and traveling with friends and family.
